Social 1:1 Impact is Thrive’s community-focused initiative designed to create lasting change from the inside out.
We work directly in schools, underserved communities, and grassroots spaces, helping people reconnect to themselves, regulate emotions, improve communication, and build healthier relationships.
But we don’t stop there. We train facilitators from within communities themselves, equipping people to become leaders, entrepreneurs, educators and changemakers who can continue the work long after we leave.
Because sustainable change happens when communities are empowered to heal and lead themselves.
At Thrive, we believe people do not heal through information alone.
They heal through connection. Through being seen. Through finally feeling safe enough to reconnect to themselves again. Social 1:1 Impact exists to bring that work into communities, schools, and spaces where people have spent far too long surviving without support. This is not just our programme. It is our purpose.

One of the deepest parts of Thrive’s work is facilitator development. We don’t want communities to depend on us forever. We want communities to heal themselves. That means training people from within those spaces to carry this work forward.
Our facilitators are not trained to “perform wellness.” They are trained to hold human connection with honesty, presence, and emotional safety. Many of them have walked through their own healing journeys first. And because of that, they lead with empathy, authenticity, and lived understanding.
Theese facilitators go on to:
Lead workshops
Support youth programmes
Hold safer conversations
Mentor young people
Create emotionally safer spaces in schools and communities
Become community conscious entrepreneurs
Every individual learns to lead with empathy, awareness, and connection starting in their own relationships.
Cycles of pain are broken as healing becomes a collective practice, not a private burden.
We equip facilitators to lead purpose driven businesses and partner with companies & communities.

Many schools are doing everything they can with limited emotional, financial, and practical support.
Educators are carrying classrooms filled with learners navigating stress, anxiety, trauma, instability, and emotional pressure, while often carrying burnout and overwhelm themselves. And learners are trying to learn while their nervous systems are stuck in survival mode.
At Thrive, we believe no child should be left behind simply because support and emotional wellbeing resources are out of reach.
That is why we work directly within under-resourced schools, supporting both learners and the educators holding those environments together.
We create practical, emotionally safe spaces where people can:
Schools we support begin to see:
Improved emotional regulation in learners
Reduced conflict, bullying, and reactive behaviour
Better communication between learners, educators, and caregivers
Increased focus, participation, and classroom engagement
Educators feeling more supported and equipped
Safer emotional environments within schools
Stronger peer connection and empathy
Youth leadership and community responsibility developing naturally
Long-term ripple effects into homes and surrounding communities
We teach more than just healing, we train entrepreneurs to teach it.
We do more than just speak about trauma, we give people the tools to move beyond it.
We don’t wait for government, we build community-owned solutions.
Practical wellbeing and life-skills workshops delivered within communities, by communities.
Our trained Thrive facilitators run emotionally grounded workshops designed to create safer, healthier, and more connected environments for youth, families, caregivers, and community groups. These sessions focus on emotional regulation, communication, stress awareness, conflict reduction, self-awareness, leadership development, and practical human connection tools that people can apply in everyday life.
A key part of this work is supporting unemployed youth with the emotional resilience, confidence, communication, and interpersonal skills needed to become work-ready and community-ready. Through facilitation training, mentorship, and practical experience, young people are empowered with real skills, leadership opportunities, and pathways into employment and entrepreneurship.
Alongside our youth facilitators, the Thrive team also facilitates workshops directly within underserved and under-resourced communities where emotional wellbeing support is often inaccessible.
These workshops help communities:
Build emotional resilience and self-awareness
Improve communication and confidence
Reduce conflict, violence, and reactive behaviour
Prepare unemployed youth with practical workplace and leadership skills
Create opportunities for youth facilitators to earn within their communities
Support youth leadership and peer mentorship
Strengthen family and community connection
Create safer spaces for expression, healing, and growth
